구미시, 사회적경제위원회 위촉식 가져 "구미시 사회적경제 정책방향 제시 및 현안사항 논의" Gumi City…

 (전국= KTN) 김도형 기자= 구미시(시장 장세용)는 9월 14일(월) 시청 국제통상협력실에서 사회적경제위원회 위촉식을 가져 시의회, 구미시 사회적경제 당사자조직, 지원기관, 관련 전문가 등 민간위원 7명을 위촉했다.

구미시 사회적경제 육성 및 지원 조례에 근거한 사회적경제위원회는 사회적경제 생태계 조성으로 새로운 일자리와 사회복지 서비스를 확충하고, 이를 바탕으로 사회 통합과 시민 삶의 질 향상에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 신규위원의 임기는 2년이다.

위원회가 구성되고 처음 열린 이번 회의는, 위촉직 위원에 대한 위촉장 수여, 부위원장 호선, 기타토의 순으로 진행됐으며, 구미시 사회적경제 정책방향 제시, 지속성장 가능한 사회적경제 생태계 구축을 위한 혁신타운 조성사업 경과보고 등 다양한 현안을 심도 있게 논의했다.

장세용 구미시장은 위촉위원 7명에게 위촉장을 수여하면서, “사회적경제는 양극화 해소, 취약계층 일자리창출 등 자본시장에서 드러나는 문제점을 해결하고 공동의 이익과 사회적 가치를 실현하는데 있는 만큼 구미시가 다른 자치단체에 비해 선도적 역할을 할 수 있도록 사회적경제위원회가 잘 정착되길 바란다”고 말했다.

The Social Economy Committee, based on the Gumi City Ordinance on the Promotion and Support of Social Economy, aims to expand new jobs and social welfare services by creating a social economic ecosystem, and to contribute to social integration and improving the quality of citizens' lives based on it. The term of office of the new member is two years.

The meeting, the first of its kind since the committee was formed, was held in the order of awarding letters of appointment to commissioned members, selecting vice-chairmen, and other discussions, and discussed various issues in depth, including the presentation of social and economic policy directions in Gumi City, and the progress report on the project to create an innovative town to build a sustainable social and economic ecosystem.

Gumi Mayor Jang Se-yong presented letters of appointment to seven commissioned members, saying, "As the social economy is aimed at solving problems that emerge in the capital market, such as resolving polarization and creating jobs for the vulnerable, and realizing common interests and social values, I hope that the Social Economy Committee will be well established so that Gumi City can play a leading role compared to other municipalities."
