21년 용역비 국비 10억원 확보, 23년까지 400억원 투입

(전국= KTN) 김도형 기자= 구미시(시장 장세용)는 산단대개조 사업으로 신청한 구미제2, 3국가산업단지 재생사업이 국토교통부에서 재생사업지구로 선정되어 2021년도 재생계획수립을 위한 용역비 국비 10억원을 확보했다.

재생사업은 조성된 지 20년 이상된 노후 산단을 재생사업지구로 지정하여 업종의 재배치, 토지이용계획 변경, 기반시설 정비·확충을 통한 산업입지기능을 강화하는 사업이다.

The regeneration project is to designate old industrial complexes that have been created for more than 20 years as renewable business zones to strengthen industrial location functions through relocation of industries, changes in land use plans, and readjustment and expansion of infrastructure.

구미시는 1산단이 2018년 재생사업지구로 지정되어 2022년까지 총사업비 484억원(국비50%)으로 재생사업을 추진하고 있으며, 이번 2, 3산단에는 2023년까지 총 400억원(국비50%)을 투입하여 재생사업을 추진할 계획이다.

Gumi City has been designated as a regeneration business district in 2018 and is pushing for the regeneration project with a total project cost of 48.4 billion won (50 percent national budget) by 2022. The 2nd and 3rd industrial complexes plan to invest a total of 40 billion won (50 percent national budget) by 2023.

2, 3단지는 각각 83년, 95년 준공된 노후단지로 지속적으로 주차장과 휴식공간 등 기반시설, 지원시설 부족 문제가 제기 되어왔으며 이번 추진될 재생사업으로 주차장과 소공원을 분산 설치하고 노후 도로시설물 보수, 도로구조 개선 등을 통해 기업유치 경쟁력을 강화할 계획이다.

장세용 구미시장은 코로나 19로 어려운 상황에 있지만 스마트산단 사업, 산단대개조 사업, 노후산단 재생사업을 통해 기업유치, 근로환경 개선, 양질의 일자리 창출로 구미국가산단의 부흥을 이끌고 혁신성장의 거점으로 만들 것을 약속했다.
