KOREA AWARDS, 기밀유지기간 30년 명시

KOREA AWARDS 시상 부문: 국가혁신, 의정, 과학 등 총 9개 부문

6회째를 맞이한 'KOREA AWARDS(대한민국 참봉사대상)'은 사회 각 분야에서 탁월한 업적을 이뤄 지역 및 국가 발전에 헌신한 공로자를 찾아 이를 널리 알리며, 또한 지역갈등을 해소하고 사회적 약자를 보호함으로써 보다 낳은 건강한 사회를 만들어 가는데 기여하고자 지난 2015년에 제정됐다.

시상부문은 총 9개 부문으로 국가혁신, 의정, 과학, 경제, 지역발전, 참교육공헌, 보건, 사회공헌, 문화부문 등이며, '참교육공헌부문'은 각종 학교폭력을 예방하거나 추방하는데 헌신한 자와 교권회복을 위해 공헌한 자 그리고 우리나라 교육계 전반의 향상을 위해 현저한 업적을 이뤄 바람직한 교육의 표상(表象)을 정립하는데 귀감이 되는 자에게 수여하는 상으로 학교폭력을 추방하고 교권을 회복시켜 나가는데 기여하고자 마련됐다.

KOREA AWARDS, 기밀유지기간 30년 명시

특히 KOREA AWARDS는 수상자 선정의 객관성과 공정성을 엄격히 담보하기 위해 심사 등 수상자 선정과 관련한 일체의 내용은 기밀유지기간을 명시하여 30년간 봉인하도록 하고 있다.

제출서류는 세계총연맹 홈페이지의 '세계언론협회 KOREA AWARDS(대한민국 참봉사대상)' 부문에서 양식을 다운로드 받아 작성하여 보내면 된다. 접수기간은 9월 1일부터 11월 30일까지다.

수상자 발표는 2021년 1월, 시상식은 2021년 1월에 개최될 예정이다. (기타 자세한 사항은 세계총연맹 홈페이지 참조)

지난 제5회 KOREA AWARDS 수상자는 △경제부문의 경제공로대상에 강찬석 현대홈쇼핑 대표이사 사장 △과학부문의 과학공로대상에 이성환 고려대학교 인공지능대학원 주임교수 (고려대학교 인공지능연구센터 센터장) △지역발전부문의 지역발전공로대상에 김태석 제주특별자치도의회 의장 △참교육공헌부문의 참교육공로대상에 조열제 한국과학기술한림원 정회원 △보건부문의 보건공헌대상에 권준수 서울대학교 의과대학교수(현 대한신경정신의학회 이사장) △보건부문의 보건공로대상에 황치엽 대신약품(주) 대표이사(현 (사)한국의약품유통협회 명예회장) △사회공헌부문의 사회공헌대상에 남경애 한국해양과학기술원 감사부 선임행정원 △사회공헌부문의 사회공헌대상에 이휘진 전 주파푸아뉴기니 대사(전 주시드니 총영사)등 총 8인이 수상의 영예를 안았다.

한편 세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL, WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS)은 지난 2007년 1월11일 설립된 '국제청소년연구원(구. 국제청소년연구소, 초대 대표 이산하<李山河>)'을 모태로 하며, 정치적 중립기구로서 세계연맹 부설 언론기관인 사단법인 세계언론협회(WPA, WORLD PRESS ASSOCIATION)와 함께 전국 17개 광역시•도 지부연맹과 세계 각 국가의 지부연맹을 통해서 열정을 가진 청년인재들과 함께 사회의 구조적 모순에서 일어나는 위기상황을 해결해 나가는데 적극 참여한다. 또한 세계 각국 간의 교류와 협력을 통해 사회적 약자가 소외 받지 않고 참여와 소통의 문화가 확산돼 ’더불어 함께하는 세상'을 열어 가는데 가치를 두고 있다.

세계청년리더총연맹은 또한 본 연맹이 추구하는 가치를 실현하고자 부설 언론기관과 연구기관, 세계연맹장학재단(설립 준비 중) 및 특별기구 등을 두고 있다. 부설 연구기관으로는 국제청소년연구원, 세계여성연구원, 국제정책연구원, 세계경제정책연구원, 세계보건연구원, 세계과학기술연구원, 미디어정책연구원, 세계환경연구원, 통일정책연구원 등을 두고 있다.

세계청년리더총연맹은 부설 언론기관으로 사단법인 세계언론협회(WPA, WORLD PRESS ASSOCIATION)을 두고 있으며, 세계언론협회 소속의 '세계청년리더총연맹 다국적기자단'인 '세계연맹기자단(WPC, WFPL PRESS CORPS)'과 '300여 단체들의 연합체인 기회공정실천연대’(FOPAH : Fariness of Opportunity & Fairness of the Process Action Headquarters)를 두고 있다.

특히 세계청년리더총연맹 부설 연구기관 중 하나인 국제정책연구원(IPI, INTERNATIONAL POLICY INSTITUTE)은 특정 정당을 지지하지 않는 '정치적 중립'의 평가분석전문 비영리 기구로서 국가의 정책이나 시책, 국회 입법•의정활동, 공기업 및 공공기관, 지방자치단체 등의 효율적인 운영을 위한 방안 마련이나 제안 등의 서비스 제공과 평가 등의 업무를 수행한다.

세계청년리더총연맹은 장학재단으로 '세계연맹장학재단(설립 준비중)'을 두고 'iDREAM 장학금'을 운용한다. 장학재단의 'iDREAM 장학금'은 전국의 소년소녀 가장 등을 비롯한 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교, 대학교에 재학중인 창의적이고 모범적인 학생들을 대상으로 소정의 장학금을 지원하는 것으로, 학생들이 자신의 꿈을 펼치며 올바른 인격체로 성장하는데 도움을 주고자 마련됐다.

세계청년리더총연맹은 부설기관 이외에도 특별기구로서 '인권기구'가 있으며, 인권기구 내에 학교폭력문제를 전문적으로 다루는 'SVEH*(세계학교폭력추방본부)'를 두고 있다.

*SVEH(세계학교폭력추방본부)는 우리나라를 포함한 전 세계 많은 국가들에서 발생하는 학교폭력을 예방하고 추방하기 위한 일환으로 지난 2017년 12월 19일 (장소: 한국프레스센터 20층 국제회의장) 출범했다.

세계청년리더총연맹은 학교폭력의 심각성을 전 세계에 널리 알리고 학생들이 마음껏 뛰어 놀면서 자신의 꿈을 키워갈 수 있도록 세계 모든 국가들이 서로 연대하여 공동 대응할 수 있는 '세계 학교폭력 예방 및 추방을 위한 안전 시스템' 구축에 노력하고 있다. 이를 위해 세계청년리더총연맹은 구심점으로써 세계총연맹 설립 기념일인 1월 11일을 '세계 학교폭력 추방의 날'로 지정 및 선포하고 학교폭력으로부터 학생들이 더 이상 고통 받거나 희생되는 일이 없도록 공동 대처해 가고 있다.

KOREA AWARDS Awards: 9 categories in total, including national innovation, parliament and science

Marking its sixth anniversary, the "KOREA AWARDS" was established in 2015 to find and publicize contributors who have made outstanding achievements in various sectors of society and devoted themselves to regional and national development, and to contribute to creating a healthier society by resolving regional conflicts and protecting the socially disadvantaged.

The award categories are nine categories: national innovation, legislative affairs, science, economy, regional development, true education contribution, health, social contribution, and culture. The 'true education contribution categories' are those who have devoted themselves to preventing or deporting various school violence, those who have contributed to the restoration of desirable educational awards, and those who have made outstanding achievements to improve the nation's education community as a model.

KOREA AWARDS, specifying 30 years of confidentiality

In particular, KOREA AWARDS stipulates the confidentiality period for all information related to the selection of winners, including screening, in order to strictly ensure the objectivity and fairness of the selection of winners are sealed for 30 years.

You can download and fill out the submission form from the "World Press Association KOREA AWARDS" section of the World Federation's website. The application period is from Sept. 1 to Nov. 30.

The announcement of the winners will be held in January 2021, and the awards ceremony will be held in January 2021. (See the World Federation website for other details.)

The 5th KOREA AWARDS winner was Kang Chan-seok, CEO of Hyundai Home Shopping, President of Korea University, Lee Sung-hwan, Principal Professor of Korea University's Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence (Director of Korea University's Artificial Intelligence Research Center), Kim Tae-seok, Chairman of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Council, and Cho Yeol-won, President of the True Education Contribution College of Science and Technology in the Regional Development. A total of eight people, including Lee Hwi-jin, former ambassador to Vampua New Guinea (former consul general to Sydney), were honored with the award.

Meanwhile, the World Federation of Youth Leaders (WFPL), which was founded on January 11, 2007, is modeled after the International Youth Research Institute (formerly the International Youth Research Institute, Lee San-ha, the first representative of the organization, and is affiliated with the World Federation as a political neutral organization, the World Press Association (WPA, WORLDPORLD). In addition, through exchanges and cooperation among countries around the world, the culture of participation and communication spread without the socially disadvantaged being left out, putting value on opening up a "world together."

The World Federation of Youth Leaders also has affiliated media and research institutes, the World Federation Scholarship Foundation (preparing to establish) and special organizations to realize the values it seeks. The affiliated research institutes include the International Youth Research Institute, the World Women's Research Institute, the International Policy Institute, the World Economic Policy Institute, the World Institute of Health, the World Institute of Science and Technology, the Media Policy Institute, the World Environment Research Institute and the Institute for Unification Policy.

The World Federation of Youth Leaders, affiliated with the World Press Association (WPA), has the World Press Association (WORLD PRESS ASSOCIATION) and is affiliated with the World Press Association, the World Federation of Young Leaders' Multinational Reporters, and the World Federation of 300 organizations, the Alliance for Opportunity and Practice (OPHA), an association of the World Youth Leaders' Association.

In particular, the Institute for International Policy (IPI), one of the research institutes affiliated with the World Federation of Youth Leaders, is a non-profit organization specializing in the evaluation and analysis of 'political neutrality' that does not support a particular political party, and is responsible for providing and evaluating services such as national policies and policies, parliamentary legislation, parliamentary activities, public and public organizations, and local governments.

The World Federation of Youth Leaders is a scholarship foundation and operates the iDREAM Scholarship for the World Federation Scholarship Foundation (Preparing to establish it). The scholarship foundation's "iDREAM Scholarship" is designed to provide a small scholarship to creative and exemplary students attending elementary, middle, high school and university, including the heads of boys and girls, to help students fulfill their dreams and grow into the right person.

In addition to its affiliated organizations, the World Federation of Youth Leaders has a "human rights organization" as a special organization, and has a "SVEH*" (World School Violence Abolition Headquarters) within the human rights organization that specializes in dealing with school violence issues.

*SVEH (World School Violence Abolition Headquarters) was launched on December 19, 2017 (place: International Conference Hall on the 20th floor of the Korea Press Center) as part of its efforts to prevent and expel school violence in many countries around the world, including Korea.

The World Federation of Youth Leaders is working to establish a "safety system for the prevention and eradication of school violence" in which all countries around the world can jointly respond to each other so that students can spread the seriousness of school violence around the world and develop their dreams while playing to their fullest. To this end, the World Youth Leaders Federation designated and declared Jan. 11, the anniversary of the establishment of the World Federation, as the "World Day for the Elimination of School Violence," and is jointly coping with school violence so that students will no longer suffer or sacrifice.
