구미 관내 유초등학생을 위한 마스크 목걸이 스트랩 4만여개 기부

40,000 mask necklace straps donated for elementary school students in Gumi

(전국= KTN) 김도형 기자= 경상북도구미교육지원청(교육장 신동식)은 9월 4일(금) SK실트론으로부터 마스크 목걸이 스트랩 4만 여개를 기증받아 구미 관내 유초등학생 3만 7천여명에 전달했다.

(National = KTN) Reporter Kim Do-hyung: The Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education (Education Director Shin Dong-sik) received 40,000 mask necklace straps from SK Siltron on September 4 (Friday) and delivered them to 37,000 elementary and secondary school students in Gumi.

기증식은 비대면 온라인 방식으로 SK실트론(대표이사 장용호 사장)과 구미교육지원청이 두 기관의 대표들이 화상으로 참여하여 진행하였으며, 기증 물품은 사전 배송도다.

The donation ceremony was held online non-face-to-face by representatives of the two organizations, SK Siltron (CEO Jang Yong-ho) and Gumi Office of Education, and the donated goods were pre-delivered.

이번 기증은 SK실트론 임직원 800여명이 마스크 목걸이 스트랩 제작에 직접 봉사활동으로 참여하여 제작한 물품으로 지역사회를 위한 사회적 가치 창출에서 더욱 의미를 더했다.

SK실트론은 2019년 11월 21일 구미교육지원청과 업무협약 이후 미래 첨단 기술 및 미래 직업 교육에 대한 수업지원, 사회적 가치 창출 활동 등을 지속적으로 지원해 오고 있다.

마스크 목걸이 스트랩은 코로나19 위기 경보 단계상황에서 유치원, 초등학생들이 일상생활 중에 마스크를 훼손하거나 분실하는 사례가 빈번히 일어나 감염의 위험이 있었는데 이번 기증을 통해 분실 방지와 청결한 관리를 할수 있다는 점에서 감염병 예방 효과를 기대하고 있다.

The mask necklace strap is expected to prevent infectious diseases as kindergarten and elementary school students frequently damage or lose masks in their daily lives during the Korona 19 crisis alert phase, which could prevent loss and clean management through this donation.

신동식 교육장은 마스크 목걸이 스트랩 기증식에서 “코로나 19 위기 경보가 2단계로 격상됨에 따라 구미지역 유초등학생들의 감염병 예방을 위해 따뜻한 기증을 실천한 SK실트론 임직원들께 감사의 뜻을 전한다. 아울러, 이 기증과 더불어 우리 아이들이 코로나19 감염병 걱정 없이 정상적인 학교생활을 할 수 있는 날이 하루빨리 오기를 기대한다.”고 말했다.
