(전국= KTN) 김도형 기자= 구미시(시장 장세용)는 코로나19 재확산에 따라 시민불안 및 소비둔화로 위축된 지역경제 활성화를 위하여 구미시 전역에 대해 한시적으로 주차 단속을 유예하기로 했다.

시민편의 제공 및 상가지역 소비촉진을 위해 오전11시부터 오후3시까지, 오후6시부터 다음날 오전7시까지 유예한다.

다만, 국민신문고 앱을 통한 주민신고제 대상인 ▶어린이보호구역(초등학교 정문 부근) ▶소화전 주변 5m이내 ▶횡단보도 및 인도 ▶버스정류소 10m이내 ▶ 교차로 모퉁이 5m이내 등은 현행대로 단속된다.

장세용 시장은 “코로나19 재 확산으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역 소상공인을 위하여 다각도로 대책을 추진하고 있으며 그 일환으로 일정시간대에 불법 주ㆍ정차 단속을 유예하여 지역경제 활성화를 꾀하는 한편 원활한 교통소통과 보행자 안전을 위해 출ㆍ퇴근 시간 등에 최소한 단속을 실시한다.“ 며 시민들의 자발적인 참여와 협조를 당부했다.
