(전국= KTN) 김도형 기자= 구미시 해평면(면장 이덕재)에서는 8. 27부터 대구보훈병원(원장 조영래) 임직원 20여명이 참여한 가운데 자매결연마을인 해평면 낙성1리를 중심으로 코로나19바이러스 예방방역활동과 장마 및 제5호 태풍“장미”로 인한 호우피해 복구활동에 일손을 도와 어려운 농촌사랑을 몸소실천했다.

이번 봉사활동에는 해평면 복지회관과 해평정다운목욕탕, 해평전통시장주변 등 다중이 집합하는 곳을 중심으로 방역활동을 전개하고, 혼자 거주하는 노인가정을 방문하여 방역을 실시하고 애로사항을 청취하는 등 코로나19바이러스 예방 방역활동을 실시했다.

또한, 역대 최장기 장마와 제5호 태풍“장미”로 인한 호우피해 복구활동에 구슬땀을 흘려 지역민들과 소통하고 밀접한 교류로 해평면민으로 부터 두터운 신뢰를 얻고 있다.

해평면 낙성1리와 대구보훈병원은 2014년 6월 24일 도농상생의 정신을 바탕으로 도·농자매결연을 체결, 농촌일손돕기와 농산물직거래, 농촌체험활동 등 다양한 교류를 통해 농촌사랑을 실천하고 있으며,특히, 주민의 건강한 삶을 위하여 무료 건강검진을 매년 실시하여 대형병원의 접근성이 떨어지는 면민들의 건강을 관리하고 있다.

이덕재 해평면장은 이번 코로나19바이러스방역과 수해복구작업에 동참한 임직원들에게 감사의 인사를 전하며“대구보훈병원과 해평면이 밀접한 교류와 신뢰로 상생하기를 바라고 어려운 농촌의 현실을 이해하고 지속적인 관심을 가져 줄 것을”당부 했다.

On June 24, 2014, Nakseong 1-ri, Haepyeong-myeon and Daegu Veterans Hospital signed a rural-agricultural partnership based on the spirit of co-prosperity between urban and rural areas, practicing rural love through various exchanges such as helping rural workers, direct trade of agricultural products, and rural experience activities.
