칭찬해 인색하지 마라. 

잘하는 것에 대해 공감을 느꼈다면 칭찬하고 격려해줘야한다.

사람이라면 누구나 질투 또는 시기라는 감정을 가진다. 사람의 마음에서 생기는 질투는 자연스러운 현상이다.

하지만 질투와 분노의 감정은 제대로 추스려야만 주변 사람들에게도 큰 스트레스로 작용하지 않는다.

자신의 삶에 만족하지 못하고 욕심이 많은 사람일수록 질투와 시기심이 눈이 멀어 사람을 비난하기도 한다.

이러한 사람들의 특징은 다음과 같다.

의심이 많고 집착이 심하며, 자존감은 낮고 자존심은 세다. 또한 질투도 사랑의 일종이라고 합리화 하고 질투를 느끼는 상대방을 깎아내리며 자신과 다른 사람을 끊임없이 비교한다.

그래서 질투의 화신이라는 말로 지칭되는 사람들도 더러 있다.

이러한 모든 것을 떨칠 수 있는 길은 이웃을 사랑하는 마음, 즉 박애정신이다.
