Chairman Lee Jae-yong had an exclusive meeting with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg at Zuckerberg's home in Palo Alto. The two discussed in-depth ways to cooperate in the future ICT industry and software sectors such as AI, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR). Samsung and Meta plan to expand their cooperation in the AI sector, while Zuckerberg stressed that Samsung's foundry business occupies an important position in the global economy.

Chairman Lee Jae-yong then met with CEO Andy Jassie at Amazon's headquarters in Seattle. The two shared market prospects for their current flagship businesses, such as Generative AI and cloud computing, and discussed ways to further cooperate. Amazon is actively participating in investments in AI data centers and AI companies, and it is working with Samsung in various fields such as semiconductors, TV, mobile, and content.
