알키미스트 프로젝트는 미래 산업의 패러다임을 바꿀 가능성이 있는 기술개발에 도전하여 연구 과정에서 산업적 파급력이 높은 기술을 확보하기 위한 프로젝트이다.

2019년 알키미스트 프로젝트 대국민 아이디어 공모전에서 감정색채팀은 사회의 감정 질서를 지켜줄 감정색채 나침반 기술로 우수상을 수상했다.

이 기술은 인간의 부정적인 감정을 인지하여 색채로 나타내고, 긍정적인 감정으로 유도하기 위한 색채 자극과 변환기술을 보여줬다.

감정색채 나침반 기술은 사람마다 갖는 주관적인 색채 자극효과를 인공지능 기술로 구현하고자 했다.

감정색채 나침반 기술이 나오게 된 배경에는 최근 사회적으로 분노조절장애를 겪는 사람들로 인해 자신과 제3자에게 잠재적 위험요소로 작용하고 있는 까닭에 감정제어를 도와줄 수 있는 새로운 패러다임의 필요성 때문이었다.

청소년기를 지나 청년이 되면 사람의 인성은 쉽게 변하지 않는다.

불우했던 지난 시절의 억눌림과 사회에 대한 분노가 통제되지 못한 이성으로 인해 반사회적 인격으로 성장하게 된다.

이 사회는 어두운 감정색채를 가진 반사회적 인격장애를 가진 사람에 대해 두려움을 갖는다. 특히 멀쩡한 인간의 탈을 쓴 못된 짐승과 같은 인물에 대해 어쩔 줄 모르는 것이 온순한 양무리와 같은 사회의 한 모습이다.

때로는 용감한 양치기의 도움으로 못된 짐승은 잘못에 대해 대가를 치룬다.
