(전국= KTN) 김도형 기자= 경남 함양의 에디슨모터스㈜가 생산한 전기버스가 국내에서는 처음으로 인도네시아로 수출되게 됐다.

이에따라 23일 에디슨모터스(대표 강영권) 함양 본사에서 열린 ‘에디슨모터스 전기버스 인도네시아 수출 기념행사’에는 서춘수 함양군수을 비롯한 황태진 함양군의회 의장, 구병열 도 신산업연구과장, 김홍민 한국에너지기술평가원 본부장, 이춘범 한국자동차부품연구원 본부장 등 관계자 40여 명이 참석했다.

Kim Do-hyung, a reporter at KTN, said, "The electric buses produced by Edison Motors Co., Ltd. in Hamyang, South Gyeongsang Province, will be exported to Indonesia for the first time in Korea.

Accordingly, about 40 officials, including Seo Chun-soo, Hamyang County Governor, Hwang Tae-jin, head of Hamyang County Council, Koo Byung-yeol, head of the New Industrial Research Division, Kim Hong-min, head of the Korea Energy Technology Evaluation Institute, and Lee Chun-beom, head of the Korea Automotive Parts Institute, attended the "Edison Motors Electric Bus Export Event to Indonesia" held at the headquarters of Edison Motors (CEO Kang Young-kwon) on the 23rd.

국내 생산한 전기버스가 인도네시아에 수출되는 건 처음이며, 이번 수출되는 전기버스는 산업통상자원부에서 시행한 ‘태국형 고효율 전기버스 개발/제작 및 수출기반 마련 기술개발사업’ 수행의 결과물로서, 아세안 지역 개척을 위한 수출 목적으로 진행된 사업이다.

에디슨모터스㈜ 전기버스 특징은 비용이 높은 복합소재(카본섬유)로 차체를 제작하는데, 이는 일반 강판보다 강성은 높고 무게는 가벼우며 부식에 매우 강한 소재로서 글로벌 완성차 업체는 고가차량에만 사용되고 있다.

특히 동남아시아 지역은 고온 다습해 부식이 쉽게 발생하기 때문에 부식에 매우강한 카본소재는 유지관리 비용이 절감되는 장점이 있다. 또한 이번 수출 차량은 배터리룸 유지보수가 편리하도록 설계됐고, 화재 대비 자동소화장치를 장착해 안전성을 더욱 강화했다.

It is the first time that domestically produced electric buses have been exported to Indonesia, and the latest electric buses are the result of the "Thailand-type High-Efficiency Electric Bus Development/Creation and Export-Based Technology Development Project" implemented by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and are an export project aimed at exploring the ASEAN region.

Edison Motors Co., Ltd. electric bus features a high-cost composite material (cabon fiber), which is more rigid, lighter in weight and very resistant to corrosion than normal steel plates, and is used only by global carmakers for high-priced vehicles.

In particular, carbon materials, which are very strong in corrosion, have the advantage of reducing maintenance costs because they are easily corroded due to high temperatures and humidity in Southeast Asia. In addition, the exported vehicles are designed to make maintenance of battery rooms easier, and they are equipped with automatic fire extinguishing devices to enhance safety.

이번에 에디슨모터스 NEW e-FIBIRD와 <저상 전기버스 공급 계약>을 체결한 ‘PT.Energi Makmur Buana사’는 인도네시아 정부 주도로 자카르타시에 약 1천대 규모의 전기버스 보급을 목표로 하는 ‘트랜스 자카르타(Trans Jakarta)’ 프로젝트에 참여하고 있다.

에디슨모터스는 이번에 수출되는 전기버스를 인도네시아 현지에서 실증 운행을 시행해 높은 주행안정성과 기술력을 인증 받아 저상·고상형 전기버스 200대 이상의 수출계약 성사를 목표로 하고 있다.

또한 인도네시아 14개 공항의 내·외부 운행 리무진 버스 약 100여 대를 전기 저상버스로 대체사업에도 입찰에 참여할 계획이다.

  PT.Energi Makur Buana, which signed a "low-floor electric bus supply contract" with Edison Motors' NEW e-FIBIRD, is participating in the Trans Jakarta project, which aims to supply about 1,000 electric buses to Jakarta, led by the Indonesian government.

Edison Motors is aiming to win export contracts for more than 200 low-floor and high-rise electric buses by implementing demonstration buses in Indonesia this time.

In addition, about 100 limousine buses operating inside and outside Indonesia's 14 airports will also participate in the bidding for the replacement project with electric low-floor buses.

강영권 에디슨모터스 회장은 “동남아 열대 기후에 적합한 최고의 전기버스를 탄생할 수 있었던 건 산업통상자원부를 비롯한 한국에너지기술평가원, 한국자동차부품연구원 및 울산대학교 산학협력단과의 민관학 상생협력의 결과물이라고 생각한다”며 감사의 인사를 전했다.

Kang Young-kwon, chairman of Edison Motors, said, "I think the reason why we were able to create the best electric bus suitable for the tropical climate in Southeast Asia is the result of win-win cooperation between the public and private sectors with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea Institute of Energy Technology, the Korea Automotive Parts Research Institute, and the Industrial-Academic Cooperation Group of Ulsan University."

또 “인도네시아 전기버스 첫 수출을 시작으로 ‘새로운 도약을 위한 새로운 10년’을 시작한다. 전기버스 ‘브랜드 케이 전략’을 수립해 국내를 넘어 신남방, 신북방으로 시장을 넓힐 것”이라며 앞으로의 포부를 밝혔다.

김영삼 도 산업혁신국장은 “향토기업인 에디슨모터스㈜는 열악한 환경 속에서도 전기차 제작기술과 부품개발 기술력을 확보한 강소기업으로 거듭나 전기버스를 수출하는 성과를 이루었다”며 “경남은 관계부서 합동으로 도내 전기버스 전환·보급을 활성화하는 방안을 마련하고, 전기차 개발과 도내 협력업체 기술지원을 확대 추진해 미래차 생태계를 구축하고 부품산업 경쟁력을 확보해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
