구미, 김천, 칠곡, 성주지역 인적자원개발 종합서비스 제공

Comprehensive service for human resources development in Gumi, Gimcheon, Chilgok, and Seongju

(전국= KTN) 김도형 기자= 한국산업인력공단(이사장 김동만)은 9. 7(월) 14:00 구미첨단의료기술타워 2층에서 한국산업인력공단 경북서부지사 개청식을 개최했다.

(National = KTN) Reporter Kim Do-hyung: The Korea Industrial Manpower Corporation (Chairman Kim Dong-man) held an opening ceremony for the western branch of Gyeongbuk Province of the Korea Industrial Manpower Corporation on the second floor of the Gumi Advanced Medical Technology Tower at 14:00 p.m. on September 7.

이 날 행사는 코로나19 확산을 방지하고자 출입자 사전 발열측정 및 엄격한 사회적 거리두기 속에서 장세용 구미시장을 비롯해 지역의 전․현직 노사민정 관계자와 대학․특성화고 등 주요 교육기관장, 기업대표 등 40여명의 내․외빈만을 초청하여 진행했다.

In order to prevent the spread of Corona 19, the event was held by inviting only 40 domestic and foreign guests, including Gumi Mayor Jang Se-yong, former and current labor, management and civil affairs officials from the region, heads of major educational institutions such as universities and specialized high schools, and business representatives, to prevent the spread of Corona 19.

공단의 기존 경북지역의 지사로는 북부권의 경북지사(안동), 동부권의 경북동부지사(포항)만이 있어 구미와 김천 등 서부지역 수요자는 공단에서 제공하는 서비스를 받기 위해 원거리의 불편이 있었으나 이번 지사 개청으로 경북서부 지역민들도 가까운 곳에서 서비스를 이용할 수 있게 됐다.

As the existing branches of the industrial complex in North Gyeongsang Province were the only ones in the northern region (Andong) and the eastern part of North Gyeongsang Province (Pohang), consumers in the western part of the country, including Gumi and Gimcheon, had long-distance inconveniences to receive services provided by the industrial complex, but with the opening of the branch, residents in the western part of North Gyeongsang Province will be able to use the service in close proximity.

장세용 구미시장은 “경북서부지사가 구미에 신설되어 구미시민을 비롯한 경북서부권역의 수요자들이 편리하게 인적자원개발 종합서비스를 이용할 수 있게 되었으며, 기업 유치와 고용 창출에도 도움이 되기를 기대한다.”는 환영사로 지사 개청을 반겼고, 김동만 한국산업인력공단 이사장은 “지사 신설은 73만여명의 지역민과 57,000여개 사업체에 서비스 이용 편의성을 개선하여 직무능력 강화를 위한 직업훈련, 자격시험 등 인적자원 개발 서비스를 쉽게 폭넓게 이용할 수 있게 되었으며 지역 사회의 일자리 지원과 기업 경쟁력 강화를 통해 지역발전에 공단이 큰 역할을 할 수 있는 계기를 마련하였다.” 라고 했다.

Gumi Mayor Jang Se-yong welcomed the opening of the branch with a welcoming speech, saying, "The establishment of the Gyeongbuk Western branch in Gumi has made it easier for Gumi citizens and other consumers in the western part of North Gyeongsang Province to use comprehensive human resources development services, and we expect them to help attract companies and create jobs." Kim Dong-man, chairman of the Korea Industrial Manpower Corporation, welcomed the opening of the branch, and said, "The establishment of a new branch office will improve the service convenience of job training and qualification services to more than 730,000 local residents and easily."

앞으로 한국산업인력공단 경북서부지사는 지역 내 근로자 평생학습지원, 직업능력개발훈련 실시, 국가자격시험, 숙련기술장려 및 고용촉진, 외국인근로자 고용지원 등 관련 사업을 추진함으로써 경북서부 지역에 산업인력양성 및 수급의 효율화를 통해 지역성장과 발전을 도모하는 역할을 맡게 된다.

In the future, the Gyeongbuk Western branch of the Korea Industrial Manpower Corporation will play a role in promoting regional growth and development by promoting related projects such as lifelong learning support for workers in the region, vocational ability development training, national qualification tests, promotion of skilled skills and employment, and employment support for foreign workers in the western part of North Gyeongsang Province.
