심기일전이란 마음의 틀이 한 번 바뀐다는 뜻이며, 어떤 일을 계기로 생각을 가다듬고 새롭게 마음먹는 것을 의미한다.

세상 일은 마음 먹기에 달렸다지만, 무모한 일은 피하고 자신의 역량에 맞는 일에 도전하는 것이 바람직하다.

미래를 생각하고 현실에 충실한 계획으로 일을 해나간다면, 자신이 목표한 바대로 성과를 얻을 수가 있다.

일을 행함에 있어서 자신감이 충만한 상태를 늘 유지하기 위해서는 심기일전의 자세가 필요하다.

어떤이에게는 불행한 일들이 어떤이에게는 행복한 일들이 많지만, 어제 죽은자보다는 매일 매일이 주어지는 삶에 대한 고마움으로 늘 새롭게 시작하자.
