병원, 아파트의 비상발전기와 시내버스의 연료품질 점검으로 국민안전 확보 노력

Efforts to secure public safety by checking the fuel quality of emergency generators and city buses in hospitals and apartments

(전국= KTN) 김도형 기자= 한국석유관리원(이사장 손주석)은 다중이용업소의 안전 확보를 위해 지난 27~28일 경북 일부지역 종합병원 및 아파트의 비상용 발전기와 시내버스의 연료품질 점검서비스를 실시했다.

화재, 정전 등 비상시에 사용되는 발전기 연료의 경우, 사용빈도가 적어 장기간 방치 시 산패, 수분유입, 성분변질 등으로 인한 발전기의 오작동이 우려되므로, 연료의 주기적 관리가 중요하다.

In the case of generator fuel used in emergencies such as fires and power outages, regular management of the fuel is important as it is feared that the generator will malfunction due to failure, water inflow, and component deterioration if left unattended for a long time due to low frequency of use.

특히, 이번 연료품질점검 서비스는 불특정 다수의 안전확보를 위해 다중이용시설의 연료품질 점검과 함께 소비자신고 제도 안내, 오일콜센터 홍보 등 석유소비자 대상 전문교육과 상담서비스가 병행됐다.

In particular, the fuel quality inspection service was combined with specialized education and counseling services for oil consumers, including the inspection of fuel quality at multi-use facilities, guidance on the consumer report system, and promotion of oil call centers, in order to secure an unspecified number of safety.

석유관리원 손주석 이사장은 “코로나 19의 유행으로 의료시설의 안정적 운영이 그 어느 때보다 중요한 요즘, 비상용 발전기 연료의 상시 관리를 강조”하며, “국민안전 확보에 사각지대 없는 사회적 가치 실현에 힘쓸 것”을 약속했다.

Sohn Joo-seok, chairman of the Korea Petroleum Management Institute, said, "In these days when stable operation of medical facilities is more important than ever due to the popularity of Corona 19, we emphasize the ongoing management of emergency generator fuels," and promised to "make efforts to realize social values without blind spots in securing public safety."
