내면과 교감의 예술을 그리는 현대미술 작가, 우은경

[한국유통신문= 김도형 기자] 2025년 4월 4일부터 6일까지, 프랑스 파리의 루브르 박물관 카루젤에서 개최되는 국제 미술 전시회 ‘ART SHOPPING PARIS 2025’에 현대미술 작가 우은경이 참여한다.

우은경 작가는 내면의 세계를 추상적으로 표현하는 동시에, 17년 동안 함께한 반려견 까미와의 교감을 작품으로 풀어내는 예술가다. 어린 시절부터 그림 그리는 것이 삶과 자연스럽게 연결되었으며, 그림은 그의 취미이자 특기였다. 학창 시절에도 늘 그림과 함께했고, 결국 서양화를 전공하며 본격적인 예술가의 길로 들어섰다. 졸업 후 작가로서 본업을 이어오며, 평생 그림과 함께하는 삶을 살아가고 있다.

“내면의 감정을 추상적인 언어와 색채로 표현하고, 반려견 까미와의 교감을 통해 어우러진 콜라보 작업을 합니다.”우은경 작가는 감정과 색채를 유기적으로 결합하는 방식으로 작업을 진행하며, 그의 작품은 깊은 감성적 울림을 전달한다. 감정을 시각적으로 표현하는 것이 그의 예술 세계에서 중요한 요소이다.

영감의 원천그의 작품은 일상과 자연, 여행, 그리고 음악에서 영감을 얻는다. 다양한 경험 속에서 감각적인 요소를 포착하고, 그것을 작품에 녹여낸다. 이러한 과정이 우은경 작가만의 독특한 화풍을 만들어낸다.

Woo Eun-kyung, a contemporary artist who draws the art of inner communion

[Korea Distribution Newspaper = Reporter Kim Do-hyung] From April 4-6, 2025, contemporary artist Woo Eun-kyung will participate in the international art exhibition "ART SHOPPING PARIS 2025" at the Louvre Museum Carousel in Paris, France.

Artist Woo Eun-kyung is an artist who expresses his inner world abstractly and at the same time unravels the communication with his dog Kami, who has been with him for 17 years. From a young age, drawing was naturally connected to life, and painting was his hobby and specialty. Even in school, I always worked with painting, and eventually entered the path of an artist in earnest by majoring in Western painting. After graduation, he continues his main job as an artist and lives a life with painting throughout his life.

"We collaborate by expressing our inner emotions in abstract language and colors and through communication with our pet dog Kkami." Woo Eun-kyung works by organically combining emotions and colors, and her works convey a deep emotional resonance. Expressing emotions visually is an important element in his art world.

Source of Inspiration His works derive inspiration from everyday life, nature, travel, and music. He captures sensuous elements in various experiences and incorporates them into his works. This process creates a unique style of painting unique to Woo.

Frequently used techniques and colors artist Eun-kyung emphasizes texture in her work and freely expresses the language of emotions. It mainly applies direct touches using a knife, hand, and brush, and intuitively conveys emotions through colors.

Artist Woo Eun-kyung said, "I feel a great honor in that I can communicate with foreign audiences through this exhibition." It is a moment where we look forward to seeing how his work will leave an impression on art lovers in France.

Woo Eun-kyung wants to continue to become a writer who communicates with audiences. The goal is to connect with more people by sharing emotions and stories through art, beyond simply exhibiting works.

"I hope my works will give happiness, pleasure, and comfort to the audience." Woo Eun-kyung wants to deliver positive energy to people through her work. I hope that the sensitivity of his art will arouse empathy in many people.
