"12살의 꿈이 현실로! 루브르에서 빛나는 김은서 작가"

[한국유통신문= 김도형 기자] 2025년 4월 4일부터 6일까지, 프랑스 파리의 루브르 박물관 카루젤(CARROUSEL DU LOUVRE)에서 열리는 ‘ART SHOPPING PARIS 2025’ 전시회에 12살 어린이 작가 김은서가 참여한다. 이번 전시회는 그녀의 두 번째 해외 전시로, 기성 작가들과 나란히 출품하는 중요한 의미를 지닌 자리다.

김은서는 어릴 때부터 그림에 대한 사랑을 키워왔다. "그림 그리는 것이 좋아서 부모님과 함께 다양한 미술 전시를 보고, 예술 체험을 하면서 자연스럽게 지금의 활동을 이어왔어요"라고 말하며, 예술의 길을 걷게 된 계기를 설명했다. 김은서의 작품 세계는 "자유로움"으로 정의되며, 자연과 색에 대한 사랑이 그녀만의 독특한 스타일을 만들어낸다. “자유롭게 색을 사용해 무엇이든 표현하는 것이 제 스타일이에요. 제 그림을 보는 사람들이 색을 잘 쓴다고 많이 칭찬해 주세요.”

김은서의 작품은 자연과 사물에서 보이지 않는 마음을 표현하는 데 중점을 둔다. 그녀는 “자연에서 받는 자유로운 느낌을 작품에 담으려 해요. 행복을 전하려는 마음으로 그린 작품들이 많은 분들께 사랑받을 수 있어서 기뻐요”라고 밝혔다.

대표적인 작품으로는 '촛대', '꽃', '의자', '마음의 꽃밭', 'Tori is love' 등이 있다. 특히, 'Tori is love'는 그녀가 키우는 강아지 토리에게 바친 작품으로, 토리와의 사랑스러운 관계를 고스란히 담았다.

작품에서 자주 사용되는 기법은 다양한 색을 자연스럽게 혼합하지 않고, 덜 섞인 색으로 표현하는 방식이다. 붓 외에도 면봉, 손, 휴지 등을 활용하여 독특한 질감을 만들어낸다.

김은서는 이번 전시회 참여에 대해 “어린이 부스로 참가했던 이전과 달리, 이번에는 영재작가로 기성 작가들과 함께 전시하게 되어 더욱 설레고 의미있다”며, 세계 여러 관람객들이 자신의 작품을 어떻게 받아들일지 궁금해 한다고 전했다. 그녀는 또한 “올해는 개인전을 준비 중인데, 재미있고 즐겁게 전시회를 열고 싶어요. 그리고 언젠가 '유퀴즈'에 나가고 싶습니다!”라며 미래 목표를 밝혔다.

김은서는 관객들에게 "제 그림을 보시고 행복하고 사랑을 느끼셨으면 좋겠어요"라는 따뜻한 메시지를 전했다. 어린 나이에도 불구하고 깊은 통찰력과 따뜻한 마음을 작품에 담아낸 김은서 작가는 이번 전시회를 통해 세계 예술계의 주목을 받을 예정이다.

Kim Eun-seo, a 12-year-old children's writer, participates in the exhibition at the Louvre Museum in Paris

"A 12-year-old's dream comes true: Kim Eun-seo, a writer who shines in the Louvre."

[Korea Distribution Newspaper = Reporter Kim Do-hyung] Kim Eun-seo, a 12-year-old children's artist, will participate in the "ART SHOPPING PARIS 2025" exhibition at the CarROUSEL DUUVRE, a Louvre museum in Paris, France, from April 4-6, 2025. This is her second overseas exhibition, and it has an important meaning to exhibit alongside established artists.

Kim Eun-seo has developed a love for painting since she was young. She explained how she was able to continue her current activities by saying, "I enjoyed drawing, so I went on to see various art exhibitions with my parents and experienced art." The world of her work is defined as "freedom," and her love of nature and colors creates her own unique style. "It's my style to express anything freely using colors. Please compliment people who see my paintings for using colors well."

Kim Eun-seo's work focuses on expressing the invisible mind in nature and objects. She said, "I want to capture the feeling of freedom in nature. I'm glad that the artworks I drew with the intention of conveying happiness can be loved by many people."

Representative works include Candle, Flower, Chair, Flower Garden at Heart, and Tori is Love. In particular, Tori is Love is a work dedicated to Tori, her dog, which captures her lovely relationship with her.

A technique frequently used in works is to express less mixed colors rather than naturally mixing various colors. In addition to brushes, cotton swabs, hands, and tissues are used to create unique textures.

Regarding her participation in the exhibition, Kim Eun-seo said, "Unlike before, I participated as a children's booth, it is more exciting and meaningful to display with established artists this time as a gifted artist," adding that she is curious about how many visitors around the world will accept her work. She also revealed her future goals, saying, "I'm preparing for an individual exhibition this year, and I want to have fun and enjoyable time holding it. And I want to go on a 'Yu-Quiz' someday!"

Kim Eun-seo delivered a warm message to the audience, saying, "I want you to feel happy and love when you see my painting." Kim Eun-seo, who captured deep insight and warm heart in her work despite her young age, will receive the attention of the global art world through this exhibition.
