전임 정부에서 임명돼 사퇴 압박을 받아 온 전현희 전 국민권익위원장은 감사원으로부터 표적감사를 받았으나 임기를 끝까지 채우고 마무리했다.

지난 9월 23일 구미코에서 열린 더민주경북 혁신포럼에서 전현희 전 위원장은 이렇게 말했다.

"권력기관의 한 축을 본진을 쳐들어가는 것은 법원도 살 떨리는 일이다. 그러나 공수처가 철저하게 준비하게 했고 법리적으로 치밀하게 준비하여 법원도 영장을 발부했다고 밝혔다. 공수처가 감사원의 압수수색에 들어갔을 때 공수처 전체 인원의 상당수가 나섰다. 공수처도 조직의 명운을 걸었다. 법원이 감사원에 대해 영장을 발부한 것은 단군이래 최초라고 했다."

이날 강연에서 전현희 전 위원장은 이 정권의 무도한 범죄자는 반드시 법의 대가를 치루게 할 것이라고 주장했으며 "공수처에서 압수수색을 하는 순간은 제가 준비한 10만개의 불화살을 쏘기 시작한 순간이다."는 말과 함께 공수처에서 압수수색이 끝나면 감사원 감사원 사무총장, 1급 들 등 불법적 행위를 한 자에 대해 모두 고발 조치를 할 것이라고 언급하며 증거와 판례에 의해서 법령을 위반한 자들에 대해 빠져나갈 틈이 없이 세밀하게 조치했다고 밝혔다.
