30년 이상을 한결 같은 수증기와 매연을 내뿜는 굴뚝을 보노라면 세상이 큰 변화가 없다는 생각이 든다.

굴뚝의 기능은 높은 만큼 뿜어낸 연기를 멀리 비산시키는 역할을 한다. 따라서 보다 광범위한 생태계에 영향을 미칠 수 있다.

서서히 인간의 폐와 신체에 악영향을 끼칠 수도 있는 산업환경이지만 사람들은 익숙한 풍경에 대해 아무런 이의를 제기하지 않는다.

산업화의 상징이었던 굴뚝은 이제 사라져가는 시대이나, 산업사회의 어떤 부분에서는 옛 것을 고수해야만 특정한 산업이 유지되는 부분도 많다.

4차산업혁명시대가 환경 파괴적인 굴뚝과 함께 공존하는 것이 아이러니하다.

굴뚝이 사라지는 날, 인류의 진정한 마지막 산업혁명이 되지 않을까 생각해 본다.

If you look at chimneys that emit consistent steam and smoke for more than 30 years, you don't think the world has changed much.

The function of the chimney plays a role in scattering the smoke emitted as much as it is high. Therefore, it can affect a wider ecosystem.

It's an industrial environment that can slowly adversely affect the human lungs and body, but people have no objection to familiar landscapes.

Chimneys, which used to be a symbol of industrialization, are now disappearing, but in some parts of industrial society, certain industries are maintained only by sticking to the old.

It is ironic that the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution coexists with environmentally destructive chimneys.

On the day the chimney disappears, I think it will be the real last industrial revolution of mankind.
