선거판을 살펴보면 사람들의 속마음과 살아온 방식을 들여다 볼 수 가 있다.

여당의 한 당대표 후보가 박정희대통령생가를 찾은 날 지지를 위해 찾아온 사람들의 이야기가 흘러나왔다.

전라도에서 온 한 인사는 과거 공기업 사장을 역임했고 조달청을 통해 도로관련 물품을 공급하는 업체 대표로 추정되고, 그의 말에 따르면 지난 대선 당시 자신고 관련된 NY계 지지자들의약 7,000명 가량이 여당을 탈퇴해 야당으로 입당했다는 사실을 얘끼해싿.

지금은 여당이 된 관계로 지분을 요구하면 된다는 얘기들이 자연스럽게 오고갔다.

선거는 바람과도 같아서 부는 방향대로 사람들의 마음도 따라 흘러간다. 

수많은 인파가 모인 선거판 현장은 국가를 사랑하고 이념이 투철한 사람들의 모임이라기 보다는 자신들의 목적을 위해 언제든지 이해관계를 달리 할 수 있는 이익집단의 사람도 다수가 있는 것으로 보인다.

늘 그럿듯이 젊은이들의 모습은 드믈다. 선거판에서 닳고 닳은 사람들은 언제나 바람의 방향을 예측한다고 자신하지만, 인간만사 뜻데로 되는 것은 없으나 세상 일은 순리대로 흘러가기 마련이다.
