The convergence of audio technology and fermented foods... Targeting the Domestic Premium Market in earnest


[Korea Distribution Newspaper = Reporter Kim Do-hyung] Avan Co., Ltd., which produces and exports various products through camera module development and collaboration with small and medium-sized companies, has signed an exclusive supply contract for "加振" in Korea with ONKYO, a Japanese audio company, as part of its business diversification.


Through this contract, Avan will begin to apply new technologies for high-end fermented foods and begin to target the domestic market in earnest.


"Gasugi" is a music-based audio vibration technology developed by Onkyo, which is an innovative solution that optimizes the fermentation process, shortens the aging period, and improves flavor by delivering the vibration of music by being mounted on panels or fermentation barrels.


Onkyo is a company that has been working on audio development for more than 80 years since its establishment in 1946, and recently succeeded in developing value-added products by applying this technology to the fermented food sector. Onkyo is currently working with Japanese breweries to develop "加振酒" that utilizes musical vibration and sells it as a premium product line.


CEO Avan Bae Hong-chan signed an exclusive supply contract with Japan's Onkyo for the exclusive supply of the vibrator solution in Korea on February 24, emphasizing that it is the world's first convergence solution that can maximize the impact of music vibrations on yeast to bring out the potential of materials.


Based on the existing audio design technology, we are happy to introduce the harmony of natural power and music applicable to fermentation food manufacturing in Korea, he said. "We will present new possibilities to various industries along with the advancement of the domestic fermentation market."


In the future, Avan plans to enter the market by lending its stimulator solution to domestic customers for free and receiving fees only if it is sold as a premium product.


Currently, it is applicable to all kinds of fermented foods such as wine, soy sauce, soybean paste, gochujang, soju, and makgeolli, and it also secures technology to minimize quality deviation by adjusting vibration according to fermentation items.


"The solution will bring fresh changes to the fermented food manufacturing site," Bae said. "We will work with various domestic customers to introduce premium products to the next level and lead the new market called 'Gajinju.' Avant is also recruiting agents nationwide to apply the technology.
