[한국유통신문= 김도형 기자] 필리핀 민도로 지역에서 생계 위기에 처한 한 가족을 도운 독지가가 임일혁 전 경기도 광주시의회 의장(현 광주시 청년 이주민 일자리지원협의회장)으로 확인됐다. 크리스마스 연휴 기간 필리핀과 한국 언론 보도를 통해 알려진 이 사연은 한국인 가장 사망 후 남은 필리핀인 아내와 자녀들의 고통을 조명하며 국제적 관심을 모았다.
