딸기 화아분화 검경에 의한 정식 시기 결정

(전국= KTN) 김도형 기자= 상주시농업기술센터(소장 손상돈)는 8월 31일부터 9월 25일까지 20일 간 화아분화 검경을 통해 딸기모종 정식시기를 결정, 딸기 고품질 다수확의 기반을 마련한다.

상주시 딸기 재배면적은 17.7ha(43호), 총생산량 635.8t, 조수익 38억으로 효자 품목 중 하나이다. 11월 중으로 조기수확을 하는 것이 딸기 재배농가 소득에 결정적인 영향을 미친다.

올해 딸기 정식적기는 9월 10일 전후로 예상되며 화아분화 검경을 한 뒤 정식해야 조기수확을 할 수 있다. 검경을 원하는 농가들은 위치가 다른 곳에서 딸기묘를 뽑아 농업기술센터를 방문하면 현미경으로 생장점을 관찰 해 화아분화 진행정도를 확인 할 수 있다.

최낙두 기술보급과장은 “미분화된 묘를 정식하게 되면 수확지연이 많게는 1개월가량 될 수 있으므로 화아분화 검경을 반드시 받아야 한다.” 며 “농업기술센터는 고품질 상주딸기 생산을 위해 기술지원에 힘쓰겠다.”고 말했다.
