Donghak is said to be the most excellent ideological system created by mankind that can overcome human wrong thoughts and the evils of civilization caused by them.

People who participated in Donghak did not say they believed in Donghak, but expressed it as Donghak. This is the fact that Donghak was learning aimed at practice.

The basic ideology of Donghak was the idea of patience, which contained human respect that people are heaven, so it received great response from the people who were persecuted for discrimination of status at the time.

Donghak was aware that everyone was respected and noble to farmers who had suffered from repeated wars and famine.

Currently, many people are struggling in their controlled lives due to COVID-19, and they realize the importance of freedom that they should enjoy as humans.

I hope that the post-corona era created by human material civilization will open up an era in which the Donghak ideology can be interpreted more realistically and overcome any difficulties to come.

동학은 인간의 잘못된 생각과 그로 인해 발생하는 문명의 폐해를 극복할 수 있는 인류가 만들어 낸 가장 탁월한 사상체계라는 평이 있다.

동학에 참여한 사람들은 동학을 '믿는다'라고 하지 않고 '동학한다'라고 표현했다. 이는 동학이 실천을 지향한 배움이었다는 사실이다.

인간의 물질문명이 만들어 낸 포스트코로나 시대는 동학 이념을 새롭게 더욱 현실적으로 해석하여 다가올 어떠한 난관도 극복할 수 있는 시대가 열리길 기원한다.
