Dissolving objects as if dissecting the human body to become a doctor can make you realize the process of creation.

It is a world in which everything humans need in a material civilization society is being embodied as imagined.

구미새마을테마공원에 자리잡은 맹글마루는 메이커교육공간이다.

경상도 방언인 '맹글'은 '만들다'란 뜻이며, 마루는 하늘을 의미한다.

하나님이 하늘 아래 모든 것을 창조했듯이 맹글마루에서는 인간이 상상할 수 있는 많은 것을 만들어 낼 수 있다.

인간은 자연현상을 육안으로 관찰하고 그 원리는 심안으로 들여다 본다.

맹글마루에서는 자연계에 존재하는 규칙과 물리적 법칙을 자연스럽게 활용하여 창조해낸 피조물을 통해 상상력과 창의력을  이끌어 낸다. 

이와 더불어 기존의 가전제품을 분해하면서 그 안에 담겨진 구조와 원리를 익히기도 한다.

의사가 되기 위해 인체를 해부하듯이 사물을 해체하는 것은  창조의 과정을 몸소 깨닫게 만들 수 있다.

물질문명사회에서 인간이 필요로 하는 모든 것들이 상상대로 구현되어가고 있는 세상이다.

초고도 문명사회로 진입한 오늘날은 인간의 뇌를 능가하는 인공지능을 탄생시키기도 했다.

인간의 삶에 조용히 소리없이 자리잡은 인공지능에 의존한다면,

더이상의 상상과 창의는 무의미하다.

따라서 인공지능이 범접할 수 없는 인간의 살아있는 오감을 발달시키기 위해 인류는 늘 자기개발에 힘을 기울여야 한다.
